I’d like to have a consultation with an information specialist. Who should I reach out to?

I would like to talk to an Information Specialist, how do I know who to contact?

Answer

Great question!

You can find our Information Specialists, a little information about the groups they serve, and their email addresses on the Contact Us page.

However, since UHN is a large and complex organization, you might not immediately see your department or area listed - so if you are not sure who to contact, you have a couple of options that will get your information to the right person:

  • Training Request form is a good option, especially if you want to learn more about database searching, performing a knowledge synthesis (systematic or scoping review), or other library related skills.
  • uhnlibraries@hsict.libanswers.com is the general UHN Libraries email address - if you send us a message, we will sort out which Information Specialist serves you and connect you with them.
